Hellebore availability FAQ

We receive a high volume of  enquiries regarding hellebores. We hope that the following information will help answer some frequently asked questions:

HELLEBORE PLANTS AVAILABILITY

• The availability timing of Ashwood Garden Hybrids is seasonal and varies from year to year depending on weather conditions. Our hybrids are seed-raised (not grown by tissue culture) and we have to wait for our plants to flower before we can identify the colour.
• Best availability of our Ashwood Garden Hybrids is predicted to be from early to mid February while stocks last.
• We usually have a good selection of species and interspecies hybrids from mid October.
• Please see our Online Shop for current availability. Hellebore plants for immediate despatch  are indicated by the wheelbarrow icon.
• Please subscribe to the automated  ‘Back in Stock’ notification on the Online Shop and you will be automatically be notified when the item comes back into stock.
• When you receive your  automated ‘Back in Stock’ notification, please place your order straightaway as stock will be limited. We cannot guarantee that plants will remain in stock indefinitely.

• By telephone 01384 401996. Please be patient as we receive a high volume of calls. Best time to call is between 2pm and 4pm.
• We will do our best to send out brochures within 48 hours.

CAN I PRE-ORDER PLANTS ?

• Your brochure will include a plant request form. Please fill out and return back to us by post. We will endeavour to fulfill all requests but this cannot be guaranteed.
