Winter in Bloom

Winter in Bloom is a celebration of the garden in Winter and is aimed at showing keen gardeners and hellebore enthusiasts the incredible range of plants for Winter colour. There are special exhibits and displays during January, February and early March, with ideas on how to create a beautiful Winter garden… plus pre-booked hellebore tours, garden open days and gardening masterclasses.

If you are interested in bringing your garden to life in Winter, then do try and visit us during Winter in Bloom in January and February.  In the Plant Sales House and Plant Speciality Greenhouse, you will discover our amazing selection of plants for seasonal colour imaginatively displayed…as these are undercover, you can enjoy visiting whatever the weather!

You really will be spoilt for choice. You will find cyclamen, snowdrops and other early bulbs, camellias, witch hazels and a host of other Winter flowering plants… plus a remarkable range of trees, shrubs and conifers for stem, bark, foliage and architectural effect.

From the end of January (weather permitting), our beautiful Ashwood Garden Hybrid hellebores will be on sale.

Plus don’t miss the Snowdrop  and Fern Spectacular  (up to mid-February) in our Plant Specialities House. Here you will find a wonderful display of desirable snowdrop cultivars, one of Ashwood’s specialities. We are showcasing them with a range of evergreen ferns that are rarely offered elsewhere.
