There’s so much to choose from..

For pots, containers and baskets you’ll find regal and angel pelargoniums, geraniums, fuchsias, begonias, osteospermums, marguerite daisies, lantanas, busy lizzies plus trailing plants and bedding plants* of every kind.

Succulents are another great favourite of ours…they’re brilliant in pots… and our selection is unequalled in the UK.

Speciality salvias for summer colour

Salvias from mid-May: our speciality salvias*, a captivating genus of plants which will bring guaranteed colour to a sunny border or patio pot from July until the first frosts of late autumn. We grow over 80 of the New World salvias so we can guarantee you’ll be spoilt for choice. For the more adventurous gardener, we have bananas, cannas, mimulus, bottlebrush, Mina lobata, coleus and other exotics.

Plants for the borders: There’s a dazzling mix of flowering shrubs, showy clematis and herbaceous plants, ranging from familiar favourites to exciting new introductions.

Roses, such an irresistible part of the summer scene, will be coming into bloom and we offer some gorgeous varieties, hand-picked by us for their reliability, beauty, colour and perfume.

At Ashwood, plants are beautifully displayed in our plant sales greehouses and outside sales areas. We’re proud of the amount of care we give our plants: they are grown in a perfect environment and have been lovingly nurtured by our expert and dedicated team.

In The Garden Shop we sell everything you’ll need for planting including our own range of composts, proprietary plant foods, water-retaining gel, moss and basket liners.

If you’re a gardener who likes a little helping hand you may prefer to choose from our superb range of ready-made planters and baskets.
