The garden should be wearing its early summer finery with plenty of lovely herbaceous perennials including Iris ensata, primulas, astilbes and Itoh peonies together with a fine show of flowering cornus, azaleas, daphnes and clematis. The tropical border makes a statement with it dramatic foliage and exotic hot colours while the rock garden and pool are full of interest with many unusual and choice plants to enthrall the alpine enthusiast. A ruin garden on the patio is a unique and fascinating feature and there is an exciting new fern stump garden…plus some inspirational summer pots to be discovered throughout the garden.
