Pre-Booked Hellebore Tours

Our pre-booked guided hellebore tours are a unique opportunity to ‘go behind the scenes’ in our Hellebore Production House and discover the fascinating story behind our award-winning hellebores.

Helleborus x hybridus Ashwood Garden Hybrid

On this short tour you will learn how we grow them and see our beautiful hellebore stock plants from which we collect our seed….they are quite simply stunning and demonstrate perfectly why our world-famous hellebores are regarded as some of the finest ever produced.

At the end of your tour, there will be the opportunity to browse in the Hellebore Production House and to purchase specially selected hellebore plants that are exclusive to the tour (subject to availability) as well as a hand-picked selection of plants for winter interest.

John’s Garden, which is spectacular in Winter, is also open every Saturday for charity (additional entrance charge, payable on the day)

• Hellebore Tour Cost: £6.50 (supporting the Adam Greathead Award).

• In person at the nursery (advance tickets only: tickets will NOT be available to buy in person at the nursery on the day)
• Please be aware that we will need your email address for correspondence.

Additional information:

• Duration: short tour approximately 30 minutes plus 30 minutes browsing time in the Hellebore Production House.
• Please meet in the Plant Sales House at 10.20am.
• A member of the Ashwood team will meet you (your details will be on our guest list).
• We advise wearing of appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear.
• Tours are mostly under cover but warm clothing and sensible shoes are essential.
