TripAdvisor Award for The Tea Room at Ashwood

We are thrilled to announce that The Tea Room at Ashwood has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor.

The Certificate of Excellence award is given to outstanding hospitality businesses that have received praise and recognition in reviews by TripAdvisor travellers. Winners of the award range from one-room bed & breakfasts to 6000-room hotels, from bakeries to Michelin star restaurants and hidden attractions to world-renowned parks and museums.

To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travellers on TripAdvisor. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.

Congratulations to manager Ruth Cartwright and her team for this considerable achievement. Her talented and hard-working team always strives for perfection, often under difficult circumstances during very busy periods, consistently producing beautiful home-cooked meals and a mouth-watering range of home-baked cakes and pastries.

The high standard of The Tea Room has also already been recognised by an award last year of a top rating of Five Stars from the ratemyplace food safety inspectorate, with special praise given for its “high standards which are well above average”.
