This annual event in the Ashwood calendar is a celebration of the garden in winter. Winter in Bloom is aimed at showing keen gardeners and hellebore enthusiasts the incredible range of plants for winter colour. There are special exhibits and displays with ideas on how to create a beautiful winter garden, plus a programme of hellebore tours, lectures and other special events throughout January and February. You will discover our amazing selection of plants for winter colour and we are sure you will be impressed with their quality. They are imaginatively displayed in our attractive sales area, much of which is under cover so that you can visit whatever the weather. You really will be spoilt for choice: as well as our beautiful hellebores you will find hepaticas, cyclamen, snowdrops and early bulbs. There are camellias, witch hazels and a host of other winter flowering plants plus a remarkable range of trees, shrubs and conifers for stem, bark and foliage effect.
