Orchids…

Orchids conjure up visions of tropical paradises and we offer a wealth of familiar favourites (Cymbidiums, Pansy Orchids, Dancing Ladies, Singapore Orchids and the ever-popular Phalaenopsis or Moth Orchids) as well as others that are more rarely offered. The new breeds of orchids are outstanding, easy to grow, prolific in flower and are the most rewarding of houseplants, well suited to our double glazed and centrally heated homes.

Our house plant selection is equally as enticing with evocative names such as Peace Lily, Flamingo Flower, Prayer Plant, Devil’s Ivy, Spider plant and Cape Primrose.  There’s something to suit every situation in the home or office.

You will find flowering plants in abundance and a huge range of foliage plants which will add interest, texture and colour to their surroundings…ranging from tall graceful palms to soft floaty ferns and air plants.

There are planted bowls and baskets, perfect as gifts, and a superb assortment of cacti and succulents, especially appealing to children.

Ashwood Nurseries is unique in that we have a warm purpose-built greenhouse in which we grow and nurture our plants with tender-loving care in a perfect environment.
